SS19 adizero bekoji
A racing flat aimed at the high school/college athlete in need of a light, responsive shoe with a unique look.
IDEATION
Some of the early sketches and prototypes exploring two different ideas for lightweight support: Adidas’ forged fiber technology and zones of tpu meshes.
FINAL PRODUCT
The heel branding was decided on as a bold placement that lets other racers know what the runner in front of them is wearing. Forged fiber was ultimately used for a secure fit and unique aesthetic. The final stitch pattern was finalized in collaboration with colleague Chris Padilla.
